The Beginning

I am, by no means, overweight. I am 5'6 and weight about 123 lbs. I have a slender look, but I also have fat in my stomach area and a huge behind. About 2 years ago, I started noticing this incredible amount of cellulite in my thighs... I have never been this out off shape before in my life. I got tired of feeling flabby and this is my outlet while searching for a healthier life style.

My main problems are: I am lazy. I hate the gym (although recently got a membership). I procrastinate. I have no time (I have 2 jobs, 2 dogs, school, and a boyfriend who lives almost 30 miles away from me).

My first step was to include ANY type of physical activity into my routine. My second step is to find varied exercises to keep it interesting and to help with the fact I get bored easily. My third step is to watch what I eat. My third step is to just stick to it.

I am starting my routine today. I have been running/walking for about two weeks, at least twice a week. Yesterday, I did some rebounding using my mini-trampoline for twenty minutes. Today, I am investing some money on a weight scale, a gym ball, and some Pilate's workout DVDs and resistance bands. I think that with a healthy diet (which to me won't be so hard because I don't like sweets so much) and a variety of exercises throughout the week, I might be able to keep this up.

I will post pictures of what I look like now to keep track of changes.

I am just a real person, with little time, and little money to invest in a personal trainer. We'll see how this is going to go.
